Public consultation on the draft National Children’s Policy

The Ministry for Justice, Dialogue and the Family is currently holding a public consultation on the draft National Children’s Policy. The aim of the Policy is to present a holistic picture of the issues related to children under the age of 18.

Priority boarding on the Gozo Channel

On Friday (6/4/2012) I was at the Cirkewwa Terminal at 8.35 am. Unfortunately I missed boarding the 9am boat for 5 or 6 cars. The person seeing to the queue also decided to board a van of food supplies before other cars in the queue, a perfectly commendable and acceptable act.

Following cabinet approval, the Ministry for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications (MITC) has instructed Transport Malta (TM) to commission detailed feasibility studies on a road tunnel link from Malta to Gozo.

We are all Maltese, a “gozitan” is simply a Maltese who was born and lives in Gozo, just like a Karkariz is a Maltese born and/or living in B’kara.
