The power of the micro/blog is massive.

However, blogging on the Rock is turning nasty lately . It’s like one big arena, gladiators waiting for their turn to have a go….and the people are all set with their thumbs – ready to give a thumbs up or a thumbs down…..

I’ve been in the ‘blog scene’ for a relatively short time, but I guess like most other things it’s a good idea – until it turns dirty, irrational and aggressive.

* Is it ok for a blogger to say all ‘s/he’ wants without any sense of decency and respect?
* What ethical guidelines govern this medium?
* What is the long-term effect on an individual being spat at via blogging?
* Why do people take such an interest when blogs ‘talk’ about habits, sex and sexuality?
* Why have some blogs turned so voyeuristic?
